AMPLIFICATION: Vintage Fender Bassman amp, two 4X12 Carvin cabinets (loaded with greenback Celestion speakers), Peavey Basic 112 (for Bill's side of the stage)

EFFECTS: Crybaby wah wah pedal, Danelectro chorus, Danelectro reverb, Boss distortion

STRINGS: Single strings (never a whole set) - in tubes, not wound up

BILL:

BASSES: 1962 Fender Precision, 1977 Fender Precision Fretless, 1984 Washburn Bantam, 3/4 size upright acoustic bass, Paul's 1962 Hofner bass (well...same model anyway)

GUITARS: 1970 Yamaha FG-160 acoustic, old (sixties?) Yamaha 12-string acoustic, 1991 Washburn EA 20B George Washburn Festival Series acoustic/electric, Tennesee double-neck electric bass/guitar (Jim calls it The Abomination)

OTHER: Kamoa Ukulele, Rogue Banjo

AMPLIFICATION: Peavey TKO with one 15" Black Widow (for Ed's side of the stage), vintage 100 watt Ampeg V-4 tube amp, ported cabinet with one 18" speaker, vintage 55 watt Ampeg B25 tube amp with matching Ampeg B25B 2X15 cabinet

EFFECTS: Digitech RP200A

STRINGS: D'Addario XL170 on all basses except Hofner (Hofner has Hofner strings)

KITS: Ringo's Ludwig kit and a beautiful Ludwig Classic Maple kit

SNARE: Pearl hand-selected maple piccolo (trivia: his sweet old Black Lab was named Pearl), two Ludwig snares

CYMBALS: Zildjian

BASS DRUM: 36" Pearl Concert Model

TIMPANI'S: Ludwig (two)

CONGAS: Gon Bop

GONG: Zildjian

MARIMBA: Hand-made of Rosewood in the Seattle U-district

GUITARS: Martin acoustic, Gibson bass, Dobro

OTHER STUFF: Frame drums, djembe, talking drums, fire bells, shakers, rattlers, rollers, LP Matador Timbales, "monkey nuts" (?), various Afuches (Cabasas), Bells, Blocks, etc

SOUND SYSTEM:

Mains: JBL SF25 speaker cabinets, two long-throw 1X18 cabinets, two front loaded 3-way Carvin cabinets (15"speaker, 8" speaker, tweeter), two McCauley two-way cabinets (12" speaker & horn - 2" throat), two QSC RMX 850 800 watt power amps, Mackie EFX 16 mixer, Peavey 12-channel board for submixing when required.
Monitors: Fender 500 watt power amp, Peavey powered board (200 watts/channel), Peavey floor monitors (15" & horn), Yamaha monitors (12" & horn - on stands).
Microphones: Vocal microphones are Shure SM-58, Sennheiser 845-S. Acoustic instrument microphones are Shure condensers, guitar/bass/keyboard speaker microphones (when required) are V-Tech VT-1040's and/or Shure SM-57's, drum & percussion microphones are Sennheiser clip-on's and Shure condensers.

RECORDING:

Sixteen track Korg D1600 digital recorder, Eight track Tascam 688 midistudio (tape), eight track Fostex DMT-8 digital recorder, Marantz stereo CD Recorder, modified 1995 Acer Aspire PC and 2002 Dell Demension 4400

LIGHTING:

Eight 500 watt PAR cans, eight 300 watt PAR cans, five 200 watt PAR cans. DZN 8 channel/4 scene foot controller, two DZN 12 channel/2scene lighting boards. Five 4 channel 1000 watt per channel dimmer packs.

BREAK MUSIC:

Soundesign dual cassette boombox with broken CD player.

*UPDATE 11/08/03: Lee donated an old CD deck...
